The world we once lived in seems to no longer exist. We have moved on to a forsaken land that does not represent America. Who would have thought it would come to this?
Immigrants are being treated like dogs in the street, homelessness abounds, there is no real health care for the masses, starvation is no longer controversial, and there is all but no trust in our lord and savior, Jesus Christ.
As we enter into the holiday season, we must try to remember why he died for us. We must remember the sick and shut-in, people in shelters, and people living on the streets. Meanwhile, President Donald Trump—who remembers none of them—has taken so much from us, especially Black people and people of color.
What some people don’t seem to realize is just how much he and his minions have taken. Yet he is the one that many Black men voted for; some women voted for him, too. When will America wake up and realize that God did not make man to rule over others? He made every race to live in this world together. Just imagine the beauty of all the people being united in the world we live in.
Ultimately, Trump's greed will destroy him, along with all who follow in his wicked ways. He cannot take anything with him when he enters the hereafter. Recently, a disturbing picture showed him after a man lost consciousness at one of his White House events. Everyone present was attentive to the man except Trump. He stayed facing forward. It was the most unfeeling sentiment imaginable.
Yet Trump is the man that most Americans voted for. A godless man filled with greed, hatred, retaliation, and racism, and seemingly with no joy or compassion in his heart.
We must also be aware of Project 2025, which Trump has thus far followed almost to a tee. He seems to think he is God, but what is the secret with him? Perhaps it is that so many people treat him like one. He is very cunning and deceitful, and many have fallen into his trap.
As it is, God is the only celestial we give thanksgiving to, and Trump is not him. We must always remember this in the world that we live in. Happy holidays to all.
